QuotenivoProposal, quote and invoice follow-up

Practical guide

Write and export a trade proposal PDF

Set out the work and price in a proposal draft, then export a PDF to share with your customer outside Quotenivo.

In your workspace

Follow these steps.

  1. Start a proposal draft

In the workspace, open Proposals and choose New proposal. Enter a Proposal reference you choose for finding the draft; Quotenivo does not assign a unique reference. Add the customer details, job location, title and any agreed validity date.

You can create an incomplete draft and finish it later.

  2. Describe the work and price

In Scope and details, fill in Work scope, Included, Not included and Terms. Under Price breakdown, choose Add price line and enter its description, quantity and unit price. Add another line for each priced part of the work.

Choose the proposal-level VAT treatment, then enter a rate if VAT is charged. The service calculates the totals from the saved proposal.

  3. Save and export the PDF

Choose Create draft. When you make further edits, choose Save draft before exporting. On the saved proposal, choose Export PDF to download a PDF made from that saved version.

Review the file and share it with the customer yourself. Quotenivo does not send the proposal message.

  4. Record the hand-off

After you have shared the PDF, choose Record as sent and confirm. This records the sent time and creates the linked Proposal Quote history; it does not send anything. Continue from that Quote record when you are ready to track invoice details.

For appearance and photos, follow the branding and job photo guide.
